GORE FAVOURITE TO WIN NOBEL PRIZE

Former American vice-president AL GORE has been tipped to win the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo this Friday (12Oct07).

The ardent environmentalist, 59, has been nominated after raising public awareness over climate change.

Former Norwegian environment minister Borerge Brende, who nominated Gore, says, "A prerequisite for winning the Nobel Peace Prize is making a difference and Al Gore has made a difference."
