CANNON AND EBANKS CALL OFF ENGAGEMENT

Rapper/actor NICK CANNON has called off his engagement to lingerie model SELITA EBANKS - just five months after the Drumline star lit up New York's Times Square with an elaborate video screen proposal.

The couple got engaged after four months of dating and Victoria's Secret beauty Ebanks recently admitted they were struggling to agree on plans for their big day.

But her spokeswoman, Melissa Raubvogel, has now confirmed reports of the split, telling People.com, "Selita and Nick are taking a break to focus on their careers but still very much love each other and remain the best of friends."
