SPEARS' FAMILY FEAR HER 'SUICIDAL TENDENCIES'

BRITNEY SPEARS' family are so worried about the troubled pop star's 'suicide tendencies', they are convinced they will hear about her death on TV.

Spears was ordered to hand over her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, on Wednesday (03Oct07) after reportedly ignoring a string of court-imposed demands and skipping mandatory drug tests.

And the 25-year-old's aunt, Chanda McGovern, fears the singer will meet an untimely death if she doesn't sort out her problems soon, because she is mixing with the wrong crowd.

She tells British newspaper The Sun, "We are very worried that things are going to spiral out of control.

"Instead of her turning to her family she is going to turn to the friends she has been hanging with - and the partying and drugs. And whether it be intentional or accidental, there may be a drugs overdose.

"We are worried about suicidal tendencies in her... We fear that one day we may turn on the TV and hear that she's done something terrible to herself."

And McGovern, who is married to Spears' uncle, is not surprised about the judge's custody decision.

She adds, "The kids came second and her party life came first, so it really wasn't a shock that the kids have been taken away from her. It was just very disappointing."
