JAGGER'S ADVICE FOR WINEHOUSE

SIR MICK JAGGER fears for AMY WINEHOUSE's health after her reported struggle to kick her drug habit - he's worried the troubled soul star is heading for an early grave.

The Rolling Stones frontman, 64, dabbled with drugs during his 1970s heyday and knows how difficult it can be to overcome a drug addiction - but warns Winehouse to get to grips with her problems before it is too late.

He says, "Amy is a brilliant artist who makes fantastic music. She has class. But I'm worried she might die if she goes down the road that she has taken.

"If only she would sort herself out. It is hard as your mind has to make that switch. If my mind had not always told me that I should not do too much I could have ended up like Amy years ago. But I always had that voice in my hear that kept me on my toes and told me to stop altogether in the end. I realised I didn't want to die young."

Winehouse hit the headlines in August (07) after she was rushed to hospital following a suspected drugs overdose.
