THE POLICE HONOURED BY FRANCE

Reformed British rockers THE POLICE will be honoured in France next week, in recognition of their lifetime contribution to music.


STING of The Police

The trio - Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland - will be inducted into the Order of Arts and Letters on Monday (01Oct07), the culture ministry has announced.

Filmmaker David Lynch will also be awarded at the ceremony, where he will receive the Legion of Honour.
