BUNTON EMBARRASSED BY PASTA GAFFE

EMMA BUNTON has been left red-faced after boycotting carbohydrates while endorsing sauces for a pasta company.

The Spice Girls singer has singed an endorsement deal with Prego, and will feature in a series of 15 second commercials to be aired in the U.S.

But the 31-year-old is boycotting pasta and other carbohydrates in a bid to shed her baby weight ahead of the Spice Girls reunion concert in December (07).

However a spokesperson for Prego refused to be disheartened, insisting, "There are many alternative methods for Emma to Prego Pasta Sauces without the pasta. She can have pasta sauce over meatballs or sandwiches."
