The man largely responsible for the GREAT WHITE blaze tragedy that killed 100 rock fans in Rhode Island has been granted parole.
Band manager Daniel Biechele will be released from prison in March (08) after serving just six months of a four-year sentence.
Biechele met with parole board members on Wednesday (19Sep07). They voted unanimously to release him, after learning he had received letters from victims' families, forgiving him and writing they hoped he was released early.
The tour manager pleaded guilty to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter for his part in the 2003 nightclub fire tragedy.
Biechele confessed he was the one responsible for sparking an ill-advised pyrotechnic display in the club during a Great White show.
