BEIRUT FILM FESTIVAL CANCELLED
The organisers of the Beirut Film Festival have been forced to scrap the 2007 event because of political instability in the Middle East.
The festival was scheduled to take place at the beginning of October (07).
Event director Colette Naufal tells trade magazine Daily Variety, "We like to say the show must go on, but if there's a physical war, we cannot stage the festival this year. We have to be practical."
