Former WHITESNAKE member MEL GALLEY has shamed an imposter who was making a living off pretending to be him.
Ken Grimley had been touring music venues and signing autographs claiming to be the famous guitarist.
Galley heard of his doppleganger's scheme and visited the man's home where he was given a tour and offered an autograph before Grimley realised he had been set up.
The music star says, "I'm upset about the impersonation but I feel more sorry for people who have fallen for it. I found the Grimley meeting really eerie. All I wanted to do was get out of the house.
"I don't wish him harm but I'm furious he has been leading his life as me. He needed to be shamed so he can't do it any more."
