DOGGIE DRESS-UP FOR SARANDON'S POOCH

SUSAN SARANDON's pet pooch won a new wardrobe on the set of the actress' new comedy MR. WOODCOCK, when the costume department decided to dress the dog up like her owner.

The Oscar winner always takes her "little dog" Penny on sets with her and she was thrilled when designers decided to dress the pooch up just like her beauty queen character.

Sarandon, who plays an aging Corn Cob Queen in the film, says, "They did a really sweet thing. I had brought my little dog, who's just a mutty dog and they made her a prom dress just like mine.

"She wore it to my son Jack's pre-prom junior year dance, last May (07). It had little rhinestones and was made from the same material as my outfit in the film."

The doggie dress-up has now inspired Sarandon to start chronicling her pet's on-set moments.

She adds, "I'm now starting a scrap book with my dog with all of these pictures on different sets because it's pretty funny."
