AWAY FROM HER

Cast: Julie Christie, Gordon Pinsent, Kristen Thomson, Michael Murphy, Olympia Dukakis

Synopsis: Married for almost 50 years, Grant (Gordon Pinsent) and Fiona's (Julie Christie) commitment to each other appears unwavering, and their everyday life is full of tenderness and humor. This serenity is broken only by the occasional, carefully restrained reference to the past, giving a sense that this marriage may not always have been such a fairy tale. This tendency of Fiona's to make such references, along with her increasingly evident memory loss, creates a tension that is usually brushed off casually by both of them. But when it is no longer possible for either of them to ignore the fact that Fiona is being consumed by Alzheimer's disease, the limits of their love and loyalty must be wrenchingly redefined.

EVEN MONEY

Cast: Carla Gugino, Danny DeVito, Kim Basinger, Nick Cannon, Ray Liotta

Synopsis: Forest Whitaker, Kim Basinger, Danny Devito, Kelsey Grammer and Ray Liotta star in director Mark Rydell's ensemble addiction drama detailing the manner in which gambling and drugs affect a variety of people's lives during the weeks leading up to a championship. Oscar winners Kim Basinger and Forest Whitaker join Danny Devito and an all-star cast in this compelling thriller that follows the lives of nine individuals, as their fates become increasingly entwined in a web of addiction and gambling, culminating at one critical moment where their lives will be lost or reclaimed. Struggling writer Kate (Kim Basinger) loses her family's savings at a casino; a washed-up magician (Danny Devito) tries to help Carol regain her money; Clyde (Forest Whitaker) owes so much money to his dangerous bookie (Jay Mohr) that he asks his NBA-destined nephew (Nick Cannon) to throw the game. Also starring Kelsey Grammer, Tim Roth and Carla Gugino, Even Money is a cautionary thriller about addiction and deception that hits a jackpot of suspense.

THE BOYS AND GIRLS GUIDE TO GETTING DOWN

Cast: Benny Ciaramello, Brendan McNamara, Kat Turner, Leyla Milani, Michael Fitz Gibbon

Synopsis: An outrageous story blended with a “how to” guide to enjoy a truly insane party lifestyle. The film follows a group of Hollywood party-goers on their escapade as they travel from home to bar to party to after-party seeking the ultimate party experience. Through their adventure, viewers will learn truly insightful – and at times politically incorrect – lessons in nightlife etiquette, which will leave you feeling a bit dirty for enjoying it so much.

DOA: DEAD OR ALIVE

Cast: Devon Aoki, Eric Roberts, Holly Valance, Jaime Pressly, Sarah Carter

Synopsis: Tina (Pressly), Christie (Valance), Kasumi (Aoki) and Helena (Carter) are four skilled martial artists whose outwardly sexy appearances betray their true, lethal natures. When the fearsome females each receive an invitation to take part in an illegal martial arts competition, the prospect of a ten-million-dollar top prize is only sweetened by the fact that they will be facing off against some of the toughest fighters on the planet. The girls check their inhibitions at the beach and prepare for a series of fights that will test not only their strength, stamina, and endurance, but the very foundation of their dedication to the martial arts as well.

A FEW DAYS IN SEPTEMBER

Cast: John Turturro, Juliette Binoche, Nick Nolte, Sara Forestier, Tom Riley

Synopsis: Ten days before 9/11... Irene (Juliette Binoche), a French secret service operative, is on a mission to help Elliot (Nick Nolte), a rogue CIA agent, who has disappeared with top secret intelligence about the immediate future of the world. When a Paris rendezvous goes wrong, Irene finds herself in a race against time to uncover the truth. Following closely behind is an eccentric assassin (John Turturro), intent on tracking down Elliot and the crucial piece of information he holds.
