THE GAME CANCELLED GIGS OVER 'MYSTERY ILLNESS'

LATEST: Rapper THE GAME was forced to cancel a gig in New Zealand because of a mystery illness, according to reports.

THE GAME

The Dreams star was due to perform as part of the Roc Tha Block Tour alongside Akon, Naughty By Nature and Sisqo at Auckland's Vector Arena on Saturday (01Sep07), but pulled out of the gig without explanation.

Sources at the venue insist concert-goers were informed of The Game's impending no-show prior to the event, after he missed tour dates in the Australian cities of Adelaide and Sydney earlier that week (30+31Aug07) suffering from an 'mystery illness'.

A source tells AllHipHop.com, "Venue officials notified concert-goers that the rapper was feeling unwell and would not be performing.

"Audiences were offered full ticket refunds at the door. I would assume that the reason for The Game's absence at the Auckland stopover was because he had not recovered from whatever illness he was suffering from on the previous two dates."
