KINGSTON CLAIMS TOP SPOT IN U.K. SINGLES CHART

R+B sensation SEAN KINGSTON has climbed to the top of the U.K. singles chart, toppling KANYE WEST from pole position.

The 17-year-old's Beautiful Girls - which is currently enjoying its fourth successive week at number one on the U.S. Billboard charts - moved up one place in the British charts to claim the top spot, ending West's two-week reign with Stronger.

The Plain White T's are at number three with Hey There Delilah, while Swedish star Robyn and Bajan beauty Rihanna round out the top five with the hits With Every Heartbeat and Shut Up And Drive at four and five respectively.

In the album chart, Newton Faulkner remains atop with Hand Built By Robots, keeping Amy Winehouse's Back To Black in second place and Mika's Life In Cartoon Motion in third position.
