EX-MARINE SHAGGY CALLS FOR END TO IRAQ WAR

Singer and former U.S. Marine SHAGGY has called for American troops to be sent home from Iraq, dubbing the war 'stupid'.

SHAGGY

The star fought in the first Gulf War and is a bitter opponent of the allied military presence in Iraq.

He says, "I'm damn lucky I'm not in this one.

"It's rough and I think they should send the boys home.

"It was stupid the first time round and it's stupid the second time."

The 39-year-old adds a swipe at President George W Bush and his father, former president George Bush: "History should show you - stay out of the Bushes."
