GEORGE CLOONEY has used the Venice Film Festival to throw his weight behind BARACK OBAMA's White House campaign, describing the presidential hopeful as 'like a rock star'.
Clooney is at the event promoting his new movie, legal thriller Michael Clayton, but used the platform to praise the man he hopes will become America's first black president.
The actor said, "You've been in a room once in a while with a rock star. He walks into the world, and he takes your breath away. I'd love him to be president, quite honestly.
