BATMAN BLOWS UP CHICAGO BUILDING

BATMAN shook Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday (29Aug07) after producers of the BATMAN BEGINS sequel bought an abandoned factory - and blew it up.

The Dark Knight production took over the abandoned Brach's Candy Building and performed a spectacular controlled explosion.

The former factory doubles as Gotham General Hospital in the new action blockbuster.
