DRIVER IN ROBERT CLARK CRASH PLEADS NO CONTEST

The drunk driver who killed director ROBERT CLARK and his son ARIEL has pleaded 'no contest' to two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

The A Christmas Story filmmaker and 22-year-old Ariel were killed in April (07) when Hector Manuel Velazquez-Nava's car swerved into oncoming traffic and hit their vehicle head on.

Velazquez-Nava, 24, will be sentenced on 27 September (07). He faces a maximum sentence of six years in state prison.
