Rapper KANYE WEST and newcomer NEWTON FAULKNER have claimed the top spots in the U.K. single and album charts.
West's track Stronger has held onto the number one position, despite competition from Sean Kingston's Beautiful Girls and Robyn's With Every Heartbeat.
In the album chart, Faulkner shot straight to number one with Hand Built By Robots, knocking Elvis Presley's The King from the top. Amy Winehouse's Back To Black climbed to third place in its 43rd week in the chart.
