WALSH SLAMS SPICE GIRLS

Irish pop mogul LOUIS WALSH has slammed the recent reunion of '90s pop act the SPICE GIRLS, declaring the five-piece are 'past their sell-by date'.

The music manager, who has guided the pop careers of Westlife, Boyzone and Samantha Mumba, also criticised British pop idols Robbie Williams and Will Young.

He says, "It's great about Take That getting back together and they didn't need Robbie. He's overrated and has lost his sense of reality. He should be grateful that he has been so successful with not a lot of talent.

"Will (Young) is too pretentious. I'm not keen on him.

"The Spice Girls are only reuniting because they have nothing else to do. One's just the wife of a soccer star and the others are not on the radar. They're well past their sell-by date."
