HUDSON + ROBINSON REMAIN GREAT FRIENDS FOR A HAPPY SON

Actress KATE HUDSON talks to her estranged husband CHRIS ROBINSON on a daily basis, because they're both determined to maintain a healthy relationship for the sake of their toddler son.

Hudson and The Black Crowes singer Robinson split last year (06) and are currently in the process of getting divorced.

But the couple remain good friends for the sake of their three-year-old boy Ryder.

Hudson tells American magazine Harper's Bazaar, "Divorce is really, really hard. For both Chris and me, our main focus is, and was, Ryder. And happy parents, happy baby.

"Therefore, I love Chris to pieces. He's my first huge love. I spent seven years with Chris. I was 20 when I met him.

"We still talk everyday. He still cracks me up. And Ryder feels that."
