KATONA EYES SOAP ROLE
Former ATOMIC KITTEN singer KERRY KATONA is trying her hand at acting with a potential role on enduring British soap opera CORONATION STREET.
The British reality TV star and magazine columnist, 26, has already been interviewed by the show's casting director, although a part has yet to be allocated.
A spokesman for the soap says, "Kerry did pop in to see the casting director. She wasn't auditioning for a specific part, it was more a case of keeping her in mind if a suitable part comes up."
