TRUMP REACHES OUT TO DINA LOHAN

U.S. property tycoon DONALD TRUMP has reached out to LINDSAY LOHAN's mother DINA, after previously advising the actress to 'get a new set of parents' as part of her ongoing recovery.

Trump blasted Dina's parenting skills during an interview with the New York Post the day after the Mean Girls star was arrested for drink-driving and cocaine possession (23Jul07) - and Lohan Snr responded by releasing a statement expressing her "disappointment" at Trump's words.

But, in a surprising turnaround, Trump is now lending his support to the troubled actress and her mother.

He tells Access Hollywood, "Dina's a terrific woman as far as I'm concerned... I hope everything works out for Lindsay because Lindsay's got a lot going for her in the positive sense."
