WINEHOUSE EYES BEAUTY CAREER

AMY WINEHOUSE is determined to set up her own beauty salon when her busy singing schedule subsides.

The British singer was recently revealed to be the cover girl of next month's (Sep07) edition of American Vogue after her unique sense of style wowed editor Anna Wintour - and Winehouse confesses fashion has always been close to her heart.

She says, "I'd love to have a beauty salon. My grandmother, God rest her soul, pretty much trained me and my brother. He'd give her a pedicure and I'd do her nails and her hair."

And new husband Blake Fielder-Civil agrees she'd be terrific at the job adding, "(When we first met) my mum had just bought a hair salon. Amy came to see it and loved the idea because she likes doing girls' hair and making people feel good."
