STARS DESIGN COVERS OF INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS

BECK, RAZORLIGHT's JOHNNY BORRELL and RYAN ADAMS are among the musicians chosen to design a book cover for a selection of six iconic literary works by publisher Penguin.

The rockers have taken part in the Design Your Own Cover series for the publishing giant, who urged the stars to create artwork inspired by their favourite texts.

Borrell has adorned F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby with notepaper used as a betting slip take from a Japanese hotel.

Beck, Adams and Canadian/Brit rising stars Dragonette designed covers for Henri Alain-Fournier's Le Grand Meaulnes, Bram Stoker's Dracula and Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland respectively.
