SPICE GIRLS FOR IRAQ?

Reformed pop sensations the SPICE GIRLS could be forced to play in Iraq - as part of a new internet campaign.

The girls recently announced plans to allow fans the chance to vote for a Spice City which would denote the city the group would add to their 14-date world tour.

But thousands of bloggers and web users are urging voters on spicegirls.com to vote for a gig in Baghdad - the city reported to be leading the poll.

However, a spokesperson for the Spice GIrls insists the band is happy to play anywhere in the world.

Stuart Bell, a PR for the group, says, "Geri would be happy to do it. She has said, 'It could be Baghdad , it could be Brazil.'"

The Spice Girls will begin their 'farewell tour' in Los Angeles on 7 December (07).
