ZAPPA RECEIVES GERMAN HONOUR

U.S. rock legend Frank Zappa has been posthumously honoured in Berlin, Germany - with a street named after him.

The Marzahn district in the country's capital unveiled the Frank Zappa Strasse - formerly known as Street 13 - in memory of the late musician before hosting a tribute concert on Saturday (28Jul07).

Zappa, who died of cancer in 1993 at the age of 52, has a strong cult following in the former communist area..
