USHER WEDDING CANCELLED

LATEST: USHER's wedding has been mysteriously scrapped.

The R+B superstar was hoping to wed his pregnant fiancee Tameka Foster on Saturday afternoon (28Jul07) at record executive Antonio 'L.A.' Reid's home in Long Island, New York.

Flowers, catering and even entertainment by Usher's pal Robin Thicke was booked when the singer's publicist announced the ceremony was cancelled earlier today (28Jul07).

Usher's spokeswoman, Patti Webster, says, "No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."

Webster refused to comment on whether or not the couple had split.

Usher announced his stylist girlfriend Foster was pregnant in January (07) and the couple confirmed engagement reports in June (07).

News of the wedding cancellation comes just days after American tabloids reported Foster has a secret criminal past.

In the current issue of the National Enquirer, Foster's half-sister has spoken out about her past - including a romance with a drug dealer, who was 'executed' by a rival gang.

Valencia Foster told the tabloid, "Tameka is giving him (Usher) a big-time snow job."

The half-sister reveals she was sworn to secrecy when Usher went home to Oakland, California to meet his future in-laws recently.

She adds, "(He said) 'You know all the family secrets - tell me about them.' Before I could say a word, Tameka kicked me so hard under the table she almost put a hole in my leg. Then she pulled me aside and whispered, 'Don't tell him anything.'"

But Valencia couldn't keep quiet - she told the Enquirer her half-sister was once involved with a married drug dealer and was arrested twice, allegedly serving 20 days behind bars for petty theft.
