DAMON NOT WRITING WITH AFFLECK YET

LATEST: MATT DAMON has urged fans not to get too excited about his upcoming collaboration with good pal BEN AFFLECK, insisting they haven't even started the project yet.

Earlier this month (Jul07) Damon's spokesperson confirmed the actors were hoping to write another screenplay following their Oscar success with Good Will Hunting 10 years ago.

However, The Bourne Identity star says they're only just in the initial talking stages.

He tells the New York Daily News, "We went to Hawaii on vacation together and we started surfing and somebody decided we were writing a screenplay together. We're not writing anything together. Not now, anyway."
