The Hungarian-born star passed away in his sleep on Saturday night (21Jul07) at his home in Beverly Hills.

He enjoyed a lengthy career as one of the industry's most respected directors of photography, and gained recognition for his work on movies such as Easy Rider and GhostBusters.
