LEVENE TO PERFORM IN PUBLIC FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS

Veteran British rocker KEITH LEVENE has delighted fans by agreeing to give his first live performance in 20 years at a star-studded charity event in London.

The guitarist, who was a founding member of iconic punk band The Clash, and later Public Image Limited, will make the historic public performance at the launch of Bouga Cocktail Lounge next Wednesday (25Jul07).

Levene will join a host of stars at the party to support gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell's work within the human rights field, including Right Said Fred, The Cheeky Girls, and British royal Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina.

The event is in aid of The Peter Tatchell Human Rights Fund to promote breaking down cultural barriers in the fight against climate change.
