KATONA FEARED SHE WOULD BE KILLED
Former ATOMIC KITTEN singer KERRY KATONA feared she and her five-month-old daughter would be killed by the masked robbers who held them at knife-point.
The singer has been put on medication and is undergoing counselling after three robbers, armed with a sledgehammer, crowbar and knife, burst into her home in Cheshire, England on Monday (16Jul07).
She was cradling her daughter Heidi throughout the ordeal while husband Mark Croft was frogmarched around the house by the intruders.
The ordeal has devastated the 26-year-old who feared the family would be killed.
Katona's spokesman Max Clifford says, "She has had nightmares about the attack, of her being stabbed and her child being stabbed.
"She decided to go away for a couple of weeks for counselling. She is still devastated. She is hoping to come to terms with what has happened."
The armed trio escaped with two televisions, an Xbox and a Playstation 3, jewellery and watches.
