BEN HARPER TO HIT THE ROAD AGAIN

New album, LIFELINE, in stores August 28, 2007, via Virgin Records.

At the end of a nine-month worldwide tour, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals went into a Paris recording studio and made their brilliant new album, Lifeline, in just seven days.

Rolling Stone calls Lifeline, “…an acoustic soul stunner…a thing of beauty.”

In his first ever seated theatre tour, he has chosen to perform in such legendary venues as New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, Oakland ’s Paramount, Nashville ’s Ryman Auditorium and Toronto’s Massey Hall.

The band will perform the brand new album, Lifeline, dig deep into Harper’s back catalog of soulful gems and they will feature songs from 2004’s Grammy award winning There Will Be A Light.

Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals will perform on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on August 28th, Late Night with Conan O’Brien on September 21st and The Late Show with David Letterman on October 1st.
