BECKHAM TV SHOW CRITICISED IN U.S.

SPICE GIRL VICTORIA BECKHAM's reality TV show has been hit with scathing reviews in America.

The programme, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, documents her move to Los Angeles as soccer star husband David joins L.A Galaxy.

But the show, which aired in the U.S on Monday (16Jul07), has been the subject of heavy criticism.

The New York Post branded Victoria "relentlessly self-promoting" in a show described as "an orgy of self-indulgence". The New York Times described the singer as being "somewhat famous for being sort of famous, and is photographed a lot in Britain".

The documentary will hit U.K screens on Tuesday (17Jul07)
