A Los Angeles police officer who shot an in-jail video of rapper THE GAME for website TMZ.com faces disciplinary action.
Los Angeles Police Department internal affairs officers have determined a video dubbed 'The Game - Still Pimpin in Custody' was filmed by one of their own.
In the video, taken with a cellphone camera, the rapper - real name Jayceon Taylor - was shown waving a wad of cash in his jail cell in May (07) the day after he was arrested for making criminal threats during a street basketball game.
Taylor has since been charged with the crime and with possession of a firearm in a school zone.
The officer who became a videomaker for the night has not been identified, but police officials have confirmed to newspaper the Los Angeles Times that the matter has been passed to his commanding officer for a disciplinary decision.
The incident will be part of an ongoing investigation into Los Angeles police leaks to the website, which was sparked last year (06) when Mel Gibson's drink driving arrest report appeared on TMZ.com.
