BROADWAY HONOURS HONEST ED
Broadway bosses dimmed New York's theatre lights on Friday night (13Jul07) to honour the beloved impresario and producer known as Honest Ed.
Ed Mirvish, who restored the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Canada and the Old Vic in London and was presented with England's Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his services to theatre, died on 11 July (07). He was 92.
