BAIO: 'I WAS A WOMAN ADDICT'

Actor SCOTT BAIO blames his womanising past on the fact he never succumbed to the temptations of drugs and alcohol.

As a younger man, the Happy Days star dated a string of beauties including Brooke Shields, Pamela Anderson, Heather Locklear and Nicollette Sheridan.

But now, the star of U.S. reality TV show Scott Baio Is 45 And Single claims picking up girls became a "game".

Speaking to American publication People, he says, "I never did drugs and I can't really drink because I have zero tolerance for alcohol, so my vice became women.

"I was never faithful to most of them. I was this Catholic guy from Brooklyn and my parents were married for 53 years.

"But (my lifestyle) crippled me. It made it very difficult for me to commit. I started doing it because I was a normal heterosexual guy and I could. Then it snowballs to where it's all about the game."
