Rapper MAX B. has been freed from jail after serving more than seven months behind bars in relation to a 2006 robbery and murder.
The MC - who is a member of hip-hop star Jim Jones' Byrd Gang crew - was charged in January (07) for helping in the September 2006 incident, which took place in Fort Lee, New Jersey. He was held on $2 million (GBP1 million) bail.
Max B. - real name Charly Wingate - was greeted upon his release by Jones and the pair went to a recording studio to meet and celebrate his freedom with others, according to AllHipHop.com.
The terms of Max B.'s release has yet to be disclosed.
