Pop star LILY ALLEN has urged the U.K. Government to do more for British teenagers - insisting 'the number of teenagers who will go off the rails is a problem for us all'.
The Smile hitmaker has spoken out after helping launch a report in which 16,000 teenagers were questioned for The Make Space Youth Review. More than 70 per cent of 11-16-year-olds said they had witnessed anti-social behaviour in the previous year and nearly one in eight said they belonged to a gang.
Allen, 22, says, "They said give young people more of a stake in communities and give us more opportunities. The number of teenagers who will go off the rails is a problem for us all and instead of helping them only after they are in crisis, we need to stop them getting into trouble in the first place."
