ALLEN'S RED CARPET U-TURN

Pop star LILY ALLEN surprised fans on Tuesday (03Jul07) when she appeared at the London premiere of the new HARRY POTTER movie - just days after claiming she deliberately shunned red carpet events.

The Smile singer vowed on her MySpace page earlier this month (Jul07), "I don't go to film premieres. I don't go... to paparazzi hotspots, so please leave me alone."

However, the singer joined the film's stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emily Watson at the glitzy event and after-party on Tuesday despite her internet moan.
