DIANA'S BEST FRIEND ENJOYS SPECIAL MOMENTS AT CONCERT

PRINCESS DIANA's best friend, ROSA MONCKTON, has praised the tragic royal's sons for organising a concert to honour their mum.

Monckton was among the special guests invited to the Concert For Diana at London's Wembley Stadium (01Jul07), where acts like Elton John, Duran Duran and Joss Stone were slated to honour the late princess.

Speaking before the concert got underway, Monckton was sure the event would be a bitter sweet one for fans of her late pal.

She said, "There will be a sudden realisation that she wasn't there anymore (sic).

"I'm sure it will be full of very special moments and what I hope is that the overwhelming memory that people take away is one of joy - celebrating the life of a truly extraordinary woman."
