USHER TO BE A DAD

R+B singer USHER is to become a father for the first time.

The Yeah! hitmaker and partner Tameka Foster are expecting their first child together later this year (07), reports People.com.

In a statement, the couple said: "We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together.

"We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives."

The Grammy award-winning artist has been dating newly-divorced Foster for 18 months. She is already mother to three children.
