SPENCER DAVIS and singer/songwriter STEPHEN BISHOP are set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Monterey Pop Festival at this year's Mods + Rockers Film Festival in Los Angeles.
The Spencer Davis Group star and On + On singer Bishop both performed at Monterey in 1967 and the duo will take part in a free concert at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood on 15 July (07).
The show will also launch the annual film festival, which this year features the California premiere of rare Beatles documentary What's Happening! The Beatles in The U.S.A. and a collection of Stax-related movies to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic Memphis, Tennessee soul label.
