HOMME HAS NO REGRETS ABOUT ASSAULTING DAHLIA

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman JOSH HOMME has no regrets about attacking DWARVES singer BLAG DAHLIA with a bottle, because everyone 'deserves to get slapped'.

Homme went to a Dwarves gig in Los Angeles in November 2004 and allegedly smashed a bottle over Dahlia's head in retaliation to a lyrical jibe toward Queens Of The Stone Age on Dwarves song Massacre.

Homme was found guilty on two counts of misdemeanour battery and was sentenced to 60 days of residential rehab, anger management and three years probation.

But the 34-year-old insists he achieved his objectives.

He says, "I went there to attack and humiliate him and that's what I did.

"I was there alone but all his people were there. I said, 'Does anyone have anything they'd like to say before I get started?' It was totally quiet. So I was like, 'OK, I'll get started.'

"Everyone in this world deserves to get slapped - not too hard - and I hope they are because it's a great teaching tool."

Homme adds, "I learned nothing through anger management."
