SCHRODER'S SON IN HOSPITAL AFTER BIKE CRASH

Actor RICKY SCHRODER's 15-year-old son is recovering in hospital after a dirt-bike accident last week (15Jun07), according to U.S. reports.

The former NYPD Blue star and his wife Andrea dashed to a Los Angeles city hospital after teenager Holden was knocked unconscious after riding his bike into a truck near the family's home in Topanga Canyon, California.

Neighbour Mark Clemens, who witnessed the accident, tells America's National Enquirer, "Holden was unconscious from the impact. When we removed his crash helmet, Holden was bleeding from both ears. Paramedics immediately called for a medevac helicopter (to air-lift him to hospital).

"The kid had gone around the curve and hit a water delivery truck that was parked in a narrow dirt roadway."

The Enquirer claims Schroder wasn't at home at the time of the accident, but raced to UCLA Medical Center's emergency room as soon as he heard about his son.
