SIMPSON CONSIDERED SUICIDE DURING BRONCO CHASE
O.J. SIMPSON considered killing himself while being chased by a police and a news helicopter in the aftermath of the murders of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman in 1994.

The former American football star infamously led police on a slow, televised car chase when his friend Al Cowlings told cops an armed Simpson was holding him hostage in his white Ford Bronco.
In his controversial book If I Did It, Simpson placed himself at the scene of the murders. The book was withdrawn by its publisher 10 days before it was due to be released last year (06).
In one extract obtained by website TMZ.com, Simpson recalls, "A.C. (Al Cowlings) drove another half-mile or so and pulled into an orange grove, where no one could spot us, not even from the sky.
"He got out to take a leak, and the moment he left the Bronco I reached for my grip. I unzipped it and pulled out the Magnum.
"I was in tremendous pain, and I saw nothing but more pain ahead of me, and I decided to end it. I realised, I can make this stop. One shot to the f**king head and it's over."
On Friday (15Jun07), Simpson was found guilty of hiding profits from If I Did It in a shell company.
