ATTENBOROUGH'S PICASSO COLLECTION GOES ON DISPLAY

Director LORD ATTENBOROUGH's collection of rare PICASSO ceramics has gone on display for the first time in a new exhibition.

More than 100 items will go on show at the New Walk Museum and Art Gallery in Leicester, central England.

The Gandhi director has dedicated the exhibition to his daughter Jane and granddaughter Lucy, who died in the 2004 Asian tsunami.

He says, "The gallery has been brilliant and hugely generous in terms of the space and presentation.

"It's dedicated to our daughter and granddaughter. Rather than being lost and put away in a little box, Jane and Lucy's lives are here as a part of the exhibition.

"Through Jane and Lucy, we can present this genius's work to tens of thousands of people."
