GODSMACK ROADIE SAVES DROWNING WOMAN

A roadie for U.S. band GODSMACK has been hailed a hero after saving a woman from drowning in the Milwaukee River.

Head carpenter John Jagielski was standing outside The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday (12Jun07) when he heard people shouting.

Brave Jagielski has experience as a lifeguard so jumped into the river, and swam to the woman, who he remained with until they were picked up by a boat.
