ADKINS CANCELS PRESIDENT'S DINNER PERFORMANCE

Country star TRACE ADKINS was forced to pull out of a planned appearance at the President's Dinner in Washington, D.C. last night (13Jun07) after injuring his back.

The Chrome singer was billed to perform for President George W. Bush and leading dignitaries but was in too much pain and had to cancel.

Adkins injured his back while working on his farm near Nashville, Tennessee. He has also cancelled his show in Cohasset, Massachusetts tonight (14Jun07), and a concert in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Friday (15Jun07).
