Legendary rockers the ROLLING STONES ended this weekend's Isle of Wight Festival in spectacular style last night - with fireworks marking the British bands homecoming.
Returning to Britain on the final leg of their A Bigger Bang tour, the band performed to 60,000 fans at the three-day event (8-10Jun07).
Speaking before the stunning firework display that greeted them onstage, guitarist Keith Richards explained the Stones' strong bond with Britain.
He said, "We just carry Britain with us, really, our own little bubble of it. I really love to play on stage, it's a miracle and every couple of days I get to go out there and I enjoy a lot of things with a lot of people. And now, especially now, it's a real pleasure."
