MENDES: 'MY DEBUT FILM PERFORMANCE WAS APPALLING'

Actress EVA MENDES is urging fans to rent her movie debut CHILDREN OF THE CORN V: FIELDS OF TERROR - because her performance is dreadful.

Mendes was in her early twenties when she made the horror sequel, and now laughs at how unconvincing she was.

The 33-year-old says, "If you want to experience some truly terrible acting on my part - basically a guide to what not to do on screen - I suggest you rush out and rent Children Of The Corn V right away.

"The scene where I find out my boyfriend killed himself? I beg you to remember it was my first time on camera ever, and everybody's got to get their start somewhere."
